On exiting the museum, the chandelier in the coffee shop caught my eye - it was the best part of the museum! This magnificent light was created out of hand blown glass by Naho Inu.

New Bowery Museum
When we were in New York, we visited the New Bowery Museum in L.E.S. Their Younger than Jesus exhibition was a little too conceptual for my liking. But we did see possibly the strangest live exhibit I've ever seen - an actual sleeping woman! The piece, entitled XX was by artist Chu Yun and consisted of a female participant; sleeping pills and bed. Very strange. But the view from the top floor was lovely despite it pouring with rain.
